General FAQ

An institution of repute equipped with all infrastructural facilities and established with the sole aim of reviving and promoting Indian classical arts including music, dance, drama, sculpture, painting, etc. is eligible to affiliate with the Kendra.

Institutions run by individuals, registered trusts, autonomous bodies, or reputed societies are eligible under the legal framework.

Private, unaided institutions established under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, with educational, charitable, and non-profit purposes.

The Secretary is responsible for legal matters and daily operations on behalf of the board.

Examination centers must present at least 30 examinees; exceptions are made under special conditions at the Kendra’s discretion.

Each institution applying for affiliation must pay a prescribed fee, subject to updates by the Kendra.
