Vidyabharati Kala Kendra is the only organization of its kind to provide proper education and training in music, dance and fine arts. It is a recognized institution with a constitution of its own and governed by a General Body and Executive Board consisting of eminent artists, social reformers and educationists.

Origin

India is rich with respect to art and culture from ancient time. Classical and technical perfection and excellence that was associated with the performing and visual arts gave us a global recognition and pride.

However, with the passage of time, these arts faced a challenge due to lack of encouragement, interest and patronage. To rejuvenate these ancient, traditional art and to give an independent platform for various artists, Vidyabharati Kala Kendra was established.

Vidyabharati Kala Kendra, Kolkata is the premier educational organization providing educational services for the promotion, preservation and development of Indian classical arts of music, dance and fine arts (painting).

Foundation and Recognition

Vidyabharati Kala Kendra was established in 2020 as an autonomous body under the Aspiremind Foundation which is registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1882, Government of India, having Registration No: IV-1902-01193.

The Kendra extends educational services and affiliations to institutions engaged in the same field across India. It is committed to building a vibrant platform for Indian classical art education and practice.
